The Relationship among Chinese High School Students’ Listening Metacognitive Awareness, Foreign Language Enjoyment and Listening Performance

چکیده

Although the importance of listening metacognitive awareness in foreign language has been widely accepted, so far, there little research on its relationship with enjoyment (FLE) and performance. Since is an important input skill primary stage learning, this study examines relationships among awareness, FLE performance 331 Chinese senior high school students through Metacognitive Awareness Listening Questionnaire (MALQ) Version Foreign Language Enjoyment Scale. The results demonstrate that: 1) participants was medium level; 2) were significantly correlated, low groups exhibited significant differences awareness; 3) had positive effects performance, could indirectly facilitate by affecting FLE, that is, mediation effect between Pedagogical suggestions for English are provided.
